Leader Commercial Real Estate Investments Inc. (“Leader”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information through leaderinvestments.ca, in keeping with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

• Information you give us. When you register for future offerings or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, the options you select, and anything you write in your message.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and uses cookies that the site needs to work.

How we use it

• To respond to your questions and arrange meetings or calls you request.
• To send you information about future Leader offerings, if you asked to receive it.
• To confirm that you are eligible to receive offering information, for example as an accredited investor resident in Canada.
• To meet our legal, securities and regulatory obligations.
• To operate, maintain and secure this website.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Email communications

We send commercial email only with your consent, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed with:

• service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and our investor portal, under obligations to keep it confidential and use it only for us;
• our legal, accounting and other professional advisors;
• regulators, courts or others where required or permitted by law; and
• a successor organization if our business is reorganized or sold, subject to this policy.

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then securely destroy or anonymize it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal and contractual limits.
